Religious Brother Day

May 1st is Religious Brother Day which held annually on the feast of Saint Joseph the Worker.

We pray for all our friars who have devoted themselves as Conventual Franciscans.

Here is a post from our Vocation Director, friar Mario Serrano from the Our Lady of Consolation Province. Below you will find the Brother Friars for his Province:

I pray for all the Brothers in the province I belong to. I rejoice for your vocation to the brotherhood!

God of Mercy and Compassion, Thank You for the extraordinary life, witness, and ministry of Religious Brothers in our Church.

God of Mercy and Compassion, thank You for the extraordinary life, witness, and ministry of Religious Brothers in our Church.

In Your wisdom, You have called these ordinary men to generously serve, pray, and share Your healing love with others.

Grant all Religious Brothers the grace and perseverance they need to proclaim Your Holy Word for the life of our Church and our world.

Amen.

Friar Andy Martinez, explains to us the difference between a brother and priest:
