Our Lady of the Angels Province Ordinations
The Friars of the Our Lady of the Angels Province once again experienced the Blessings of God on Friday, June 22, 2018 when three friars of our Province (fr. Emmanuel Vasconcelos, fr. Maximilian Avila and fr. Luis Palacios) and one friar from our Franciscan Custody in Venezuela (fr. Milton Albaron) were ordained to the Priesthood by our own Bp. Gregory Hartmayer, OFM Conv., the Bishop of Savannah, Georgia, and a member of the OLA Province. It was a extra blessing to also have Bp. Elias Manning, OFM Conv., a member of our Province and a Bishop in Brazil also in attendance.
These friars have been in our formation program for many years and have lived the Franciscan life as our brothers. Now, as Franciscans and as Priests, they continue their journeys and go out to serve the People of God in the ministries of the Province and Custody.
We keep them in our prayers and pray that more men may follow the call to serve Christ in the Religious Life as Franciscan Friars Conventuals and as Priests.
