Meet Our Postulant

Hello! My name is Dan Hurst and I am from Grand Rapids MI. I first met the friars through my mom, Jenni Hurst (Johnson) and from growing up at St Anthony of Padua Parish in Grand Rapids. I am eager to be returning as a Postulant since parting ways with the province at the end of 2005. Since that time, I have been working at parishes in the Diocese of Grand Rapids as a Director of Music and Liturgy, most recently at St Francis de Sales and St Michael the Archangel in Muskegon, MI. I have also been working as Liturgical Consultant for the last 4 years. I love racing in road cycling events and triathlons with Freewheeler Cycling. I also enjoy visiting with people, especially when there is coffee involved. I am looking forward to formation and growing in the order!
